onedotzero, renowned for its moving image festival, has its second DVD featuring a collection of rare gems and recent masterpieces along with award winning short films. The DVD includes exclusive shorts by Chris Shepherd, Johnny Hardstaff and Ed Holdsworth and featuring music by Black Strobe (Output), Amon Tobin (Ninja Tune) and Legowelt (Ghostly).
onedotzero_select dvd 2 features twenty creative works from directors at the forefront of a new wave of moving image. Music-video supremos Shynola, Tim Hope and Ne-o, are joined by rising stars that include Chris Shepherd, Unit 9 and Ed Holdsworth. Work includes an eclectic and vibrant mix of short films, pop promos, animation and motion graphics.
Two thirds of the material on the DVD is part of current onedotzero7 programming, which originally screened at the flagship festival in May 2003 and is presently touring internationally.
onedotzero is the leading outlet for contemporary moving image work in the UK and this DVD is a chance to take the festival programming home.
